Hi, I’m Mick Mellors-Pursglove – the man behind Mick’s Woodwork Wonders.

With over 40 years of hands-on woodworking experience, I’ve been shaping wood and creating bespoke joinery since I was a lad working in my father’s workshop back in the early 1980s. That passion for craftsmanship never left me – I went on to start my own company, Live with Wood, building everything from custom furniture to architectural joinery for clients across the UK.

But I didn’t stop there.

When the world shifted during COVID, so did I. I turned to the digital world to keep my passion alive and started sharing my knowledge online. What began as a few simple tips quickly grew into a powerful social media presence.

Today, Mick’s Woodwork Wonders has a combined following of over 170,000 fans across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook. My videos have been watched millions of times, helping both DIYers and professionals learn new tricks, discover tools, and get inspired.
