Michael Mellors-Pursglove (Mick), born in 1968, has been a tech enthusiast since childhood, becoming a computer geek at the age of 5. His journey into woodworking began in 1981 when he started working in his father’s woodworking business. In the 1990s, Michael combined his love for technology and craftsmanship by building websites for the family business.

After the launch of Facebook in 2006, Michael discovered the power of social media and quickly gained over 20,000 followers within a year. He continued working in his father's business until his father retired in 2007, at which point Michael founded his own woodworking company, Live with Wood. Always eager to learn, he studied social media algorithms, growing his Facebook following to 68,000.

When COVID hit in 2019, Michael shifted his focus to his social media presence, expanding his reach across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, where he now has a combined following of over 130,000. Today, Michael is dedicated to further growing his channels and collaborates with many leading brands in the woodworking and DIY industries.
