Meeting Eddie "The Beast" Hall at the Installer Show 2025 – A Day to Remember!

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be shaking hands with the World’s Strongest Man at a trade event, I’d have laughed. But that’s exactly what happened this week at the Installer Show 2025 at the NEC in Birmingham – and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint.

Among the power tools, tech innovations, and rows of top-quality trade stands, one man stood out above the rest – quite literally. Eddie Hall, aka The Beast, was there in full force, and I had the absolute pleasure of meeting him in person.

Now, I’ve met a few big names in my time, but Eddie is something else. Built like a tank, yet genuinely down-to-earth and welcoming. We chatted for a few minutes about hard work, grafting in the trades, and of course, lifting things heavier than most people’s vans. His presence brought real energy to the show – people couldn’t get enough of him.

For me, it was more than just a photo opportunity. Eddie represents the same values I try to promote on Mick’s Woodwork Wonders – dedication, grit, and a passion for what you do. Whether you're lifting weights or lifting tools, it’s about showing up and doing the job right.

The Installer Show itself was buzzing – a real who's who of the trade world. I came away with fresh inspiration, new connections, and a massive grin after meeting The Beast himself.
